I’ve had the privilege of being introduced to Teho and his work, and I can honestly say that, had it not been for him, I would never have become as heavily tattooed as I am today. What captivated me was never tattooing itself, it was his art. His style is distinct, deeply personal, and unlike anything else I’ve encountered. What makes his work exceptional is the way he adapts every piece to the individual. He works with the natural geometry and flow of the body, creating tattoos that feel as though they were always meant to exist there. His focus, craftsmanship, and ability to intuitively adjust the pace of a handpoke session to the client's needs make the entire experience feel effortless and deeply considered. Beyond his artistic talent, he is an incredibly thoughtful and understanding person. He listens, collaborates, and creates with genuine care for the people who trust him with their bodies. His creativity extends beyond tattooing into clothing and textile design, where the same originality and artistic vision are immediately recognizable. His designs deserve far wider recognition than they currently receive. A small warning, though: exposure to Tehotatu's art may have unintended consequences. His work seems to possess a remarkable ability to spread naturally from person to person. Don't be surprised if people who see his art on your body suddenly find themselves wanting a piece of it for themselves. Teho is far more than a tattoo artist. He is a true artist whose work leaves a lasting impression not only on the skin, but on the people fortunate enough to experience it. 10/10 would recommend anybody to make contact.
